Pittsburgh Comic Con 2008

We did our normal Saturday night dinner with everyone and it was a little crazy this year. We had 18 people!

In attendance were Adrienne, Colton, Barry Linck, Jimmy, Ray, Andy Bennet, Perry, Tim Lantz, Eric Adams, Dave Akins, Byron Winton, Amanda, Scott Hedlund, ML, Wayne Wise, Billy, Dan Greenwald and myself.

Strumhaus at the Pittsburgh Comic Convention

I will be at the Pittsburgh Comic Con is this weekend, April 25th to April 27th, with follow Strumhaus creators Scott Hedlund and Dan Greenwald, there is a rumor of an appearance on Saturday by Barry Linck. Stop by the Strumhaus booth and say “Hi!” if you attend, you can see and have the opportunity to purchase all of our books, including the new full color Chaos Punks ashcan.

If you can’t attend, you can still own the books by purchasing direct!

Recap

Since last Thursday, I’ve watched the following:
MI-5, Volume 1 - LOVE MI-5, I love it so much that I almost purchased season 2 until I drove to Best Buy and realized that they don’t stock a great deal of British TV shows on DVD. It’s in the Netflix queue.
Hustle & Flow - cool movie.
Gantz Season 1 Box Set - strange, I only saw the first 2 episodes and it’s totally wild.
Elfen Lied Vol 1 Box Set - only got to see the first four episodes, but I liked it enough to add the next volume into my netflix queue.
Empire of the Wolves - it’s French, it’s got Jean Reno, it’s based off of a novel by Jean-Christophe Grangé, and the plot is way out there. I enjoyed it.

I wrote a couple more episodes of Weirdlings for phinmagic
Here’s a picture of one of the neighbor’s kids, his name is Herb and he’s a Cthulhu Chibi!

Also started fleshing out the ideas for another webcomic set in a fantasy world called Orenda.
Sunday I got the nod from rabbitchild that he’s not only in, but worked on some character designs.
